    How was it??

The intro class that we watched today was really good. It was given by the president of the college. We are looking forward to the second class next week. The nice thing about the courses is that you can watch them at your convenience. We typically won't be able to watch the classes on Tuesdays due to our schedule.

We received a book in the mail today to go along with the course which I hope to start reading tomorrow.

Sounds interesting. I hope you will enjoy the whole class.

Thank you, Eva. You can still sign up for the class if you or your son are interested. I do recommend it.

Have you started thinking about colleges yet?

Yes, our oldest will start the application process in the fall. I saw that you visited TAC. What did you think of it?

Thanks for letting me know, Kathy. I wasn't able to start the book during the week, but I hope to do so tomorrow. 🙂 I hope that you enjoy your gardening tomorrow.

Very pretty campus, we had lunch with an admissions counselor and also a professor. I think Jonathan enjoyed his visit, but he thought there was too much emphasis on the Medieval period in the classes. He also thought that the Socratic method works better for some subjects than for others. He did not like that you could not use the Internet in all buildings on campus. Some of the students were not as interested in current events as he is. He uses the Internet to read about what is going on in the world. He also is not sure if he wants to do a Great Books program. So we are not quite sure what we will do. Officially, he is in grade 11, but I think it will take him two more years to finish high school. What colleges is your daughter interested in?
