Recently, I left this comment on something someone wrote:

God will always be there for you. Trust in Him!

Everything will be fine. Ask Our Blessed Mother to intercede for you. Trust that however your prayers are answered will help you on your ultimate path, on your path to one day hopefully be in heaven and counted among the saints, bringing greater glory to God. Everything around us can crumble, but He will always still be there, loving and caring for you and your family.

As I typed, I realized that I was not only replying to what this woman had written, but I was speaking to myself. My words were coming from my heart. I tried for years to make a happy, loving home, but due to the actions of another, my life has been crumbling, and all I can do is trust in God and embrace my cross, knowing that Christ’s cross was so much heavier than what we (my children and I) are being asked to bear.
